MED celebrate Mediterranean Day – 28th November

The Mediterranean Sea has been a place of exchange – exchange of ideas, knowledge, trade, learning and culture. And until yesterday, there was no date to celebrate these historic ties. Mediterranean Day was celebrated for the first time in history (28th November), as a way of promoting dialogue in the region.

To celebrate this day, the organization (Union for the Mediterranean) launched several initiatives and invited institutions and individuals to promote actions around the theme of the Mediterranean.

MED researchers celebrate this date with their participation in the challenge launched by the Union for the Mediterranean to answer the question “What does the Mediterranean means to you? In 1 word!”. See the result in the video.
