The CCPE main goals are: to structure and dynamize a research agenda and an action plan, adjusted to the needs of economic agents, oriented towards the sustainability of extensive grazing; promote and participate in research and demonstration of best practices available for extensive grazing; to encourage, within the scope of activities based on extensive grazing, the study, and dissemination of practices to combat and adapt to climate change; encourage the development of new products, value and disseminate them; aware the population of the advantages of consuming these products, not only in terms of quality but also in environmental terms; contribute to the definition of public policies, at national and European level, as well as the respective financial instruments.
