EEDAA – PhD Students Meeting in Environment and Agriculture is back
The eleventh edition of the EEDAA will take place on November 26 and 27 at the University of Évora’s Mitra Campus. Registration and abstract submission are now open.
The PhD Students Meeting in Environment and Agriculture (EEDAA) is back. This year, the initiative reaches its eleventh edition, once again bringing together PhD students and researchers from different environment- and agriculture-related fields.
The meeting is particularly aimed at researchers working in the following areas:

Agricultural Sciences;

Biochemistry and Biotechnology;

Biology and Ecology;
-
Environment, Sustainability and Socioeconomic Development;
-
Food Sciences;
-
Veterinary Sciences and Animal Production.
The XI EEDAA will take place on November 26 and 27, 2026, in the Conference Room at the University of Évora’s Mitra Campus. The official language of the meeting is English.
The initiative aims to provide PhD students with a dedicated space to present and discuss their research, receive feedback from other researchers, discover different perspectives and connect with colleagues from other fields and institutions.
The programme will include oral presentations, poster presentations and keynote lectures, promoting knowledge exchange and dialogue across different scientific fields related to environment and agriculture.
Abstract submission and registration
Abstract submission is open until October 31 to PhD students and other researchers. Only PhD students are eligible for oral presentations; work submitted by other participants will be presented as posters.
Registration is open until November 19.
The XI EEDAA is organised by MED – Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development and IIFA – Institute for Advanced Studies and Research, University of Évora, with the support of the Food & Water Subnetwork of UNIMED – Mediterranean Universities Union and the CHANGE Associate Laboratory.
