I'm a biologist graduated by University of Évora with an MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Lisbon's Faculty of Sciences. My interests are linked to the study of microbes, starting with my MSc dissertation where I carried out a screening of more than 500 chemical compounds with potential antimicrobial activity against clinical strains of bacteria. Currently I'm doing scientific research in Soil Microbiology area at University of Évora.
