Isabela Vera dos Anjos is a forest engineer who holds a master's degree in genetics and plant breeding, as well as a PhD in biotechnology and biodiversity. She has solid experience in plant breeding, phytopathology, and biotechnology applied to agriculture. She has worked on developing cultivars that are disease-resistant and focus on post-harvest quality, using genomic and classical breeding tools.

She is currently conducting research into plant biotechnology, focusing on tissue culture and extracting bioactive compounds from lignocellulosic waste to assess their antioxidant and antifungal properties.

Passionate about scientific innovation, she has international experience in research, team leadership, and collaborative project management. She is dedicated to developing sustainable, technologically advanced solutions for the agricultural and forestry sectors.
