Ana Paz has a multidisciplinary background, holding a PhD in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Mälardalen University, Sweden (2010), and a Msc in Agricultural Engineering from the School of Agriculture, University of Lisbon (2004). In 2010, she was invited researcher at the Russel Research Center of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Athens, Georgia. Since 2017, she has been a researcher at the Soil Laboratory of the Portuguese National Institute of Agricultural and Veterinary Research (INIAV). Over the past five years, she has participated in five international projects, leading and co-leading work packages and tasks. During the same period, she co-authored ten journal articles , including two as first author that rank above the 95% citation percentile in their field (Scopus metrics; February 2026).
