About

 

Leonor Almeida holds a degree in Environmental Biology from the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon, a MSc in Conservation Biology from the University of Kent, and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Évora. At MED she participates in several projects focused on the Montado system, developing work grounded in the co-construction and integration of knowledge. She facilitates and organizes participatory sessions within research projects and training initiatives that engage the main stakeholders involved in the management of, and decision-making processes affecting, the Montado.
