Master’s degree in Biological Engineering and PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Her research has focused primarily on the use of non-destructive methods, namely near-infrared and visible spectroscopy, for: i) monitoring fruit ripening; ii) assessing fruit quality (pre- and post-harvest); and iii) early detection of pathogens in citrus plants. She is currently a researcher at CEBAL’s decentralized laboratory in Odemira.
