About

Holder of a degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Environmental Studies from the University of Franca, Brazil (2012), and subsequent attainment of a Master's degree (2015) and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering specializing in Environmental Control from the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil (CAPES-7) in 2019. Serving as an Assistant Professor at the Agrarian School of the Polytechnic Institute of Beja since 2019, she actively contributes as a member of the commission for the Bioanalytical Technologies degree program. Additionally, she holds the role of Quality Manager at the Water Quality Control Laboratory (LCQA), accredited by IPAC under ISO 17025. Previously, she participated in the Sandwich Abroad Doctoral Program-CAPES (PDSE) at the University of Sydney, Australia. During this period from October 2017 to March 2018, she collaborated on a project with the company BOSSA (UniSyd company) focused on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). As a dedicated researcher in the field of Environmental Control, her published works encompass topics such as gas filtration optimization in chemical industries, pharmaceutical removal in wastewater through HPLC/MS in phytoremediation, and environmental monitoring utilizing remote sensors and satellite images for water and air quality control. Presently, she is actively engaged as a researcher in the INSECTERA project, focusing on the analysis and control of food quality parameters using hyperspectral images (HSI)
