I am an enthusiastic biologist whose dedication and passion for animal ecology and conservation are demonstrated through several years of extensive education, research, and fieldwork experience in several countries. I have been fortunate enough to have worked in Portugal, Brazil, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. I have completed my bachelor's in Biology with a specialisation in animal terrestrial ecology. I achieved a master's in Animal Ecology through the University of Lund in Sweden. I have recently completed my PhD at the University of Évora, in Portugal, where I investigated bat species distribution in order to put into action effective conservation measures. I am specialised in modelling and mapping species using Bayesian approaches and remote detection.
