About

I am an enthusiastic biologist with a great interest in wildlife ecology and conservation. I dedicated my BSc and MSc research projects to the study of bats and their conservation. I gained great fieldwork and research experience by studying conservation methods in Portugal and United Kingdom. My passion and commitment with nature led me to work in multidisciplinary projects focused on the ecosystems services and linear infrastructure networks with ecological solutions. These projects tested my sense of responsibility and abilities to work in a team and independently. Currently, my research aims to understand the impact of declining water availability for bats.  I´m studying pond´s features and their influence in bat activity and species richness in Mediterranean regions.
