Carla Rolo Antunes, Degree in Biophysical Engineering (1993), Master in Hydraulics and Water Resources (1996) and PhD in Hydrology (2010), is Assistant Professor at Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Algarve University. Since 2012 is the Director of the Master in Sustainable Management of Rural Areas.. Her research field is in the area of Water Resources, Land Use Planning and Nature Based Solutions. Her research work has resulted in some scientific publications (peer-reviewed SCI-indexed journals, international conference papers, proceedings of international conferences). She supervised several master's dissertations and some works concluding a bachelor's / bachelor's course.
