About
Researcher and full member of MED—the Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment, and Development at the University of Évora—and of the CHANGE Associated Laboratory—the Institute for Global Change and Sustainability.
With a background in Biophysical Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, he works primarily on the characterization and analysis of territory and landscape ecology, focusing on the study of the spatial dynamics of land use from the perspective of natural resource planning and management.
