About
Teresa Pinto-Correia is a Geographer (Portugal), with a MsC in Environmental Management (Belgium)and a PhD in Landscape Ecology (Denmark). Full Professor at the University of Évora. Director of the MED - Mediterranean Institute of Agriculture, Environment and Development (www.med.uevora.pt), coordinator of the Associate Laboratory CHANGE – Global Change and Sustainability Institute. Vice-Chair of the Mission Board on Soil Health and Food, Horizon Europe. Member of the Nacional Council on Science, Technology and Innovation. Teresa’s team, LABscape, is an internationally competitive team applying a systems approach in rural geography, landscape ecology and management, farming systems and public goods provisioning, and processes of knowledge co-contruction. Involved in 18 European projects and coordinator of one H2020. 130 per-reviewed publications, including authorship of a book in Cambridge University Press, 2018, and one in Routledge, 2021.
