3rd MED Meeting – Book of Abstracts

On 16 and 17 June 2025, the Mitra Campus of the University of Évora once again welcomed MED researchers for the 3rd MED Meeting. This edition brought together around 140 participants from the various MED infrastructures – University of Évora, CEBAL and University of Algarve – in an event marked by scientific sharing, interdisciplinary collaboration and the joint construction of solutions for a more sustainable future.

Under the motto ‘Science for resilient agroecosystems and sustainable future’, the meeting focused on the role of science in promoting more resilient agri-food systems and territories, capable of responding to the challenges posed by environmental and climate change. The diverse and dynamic programme included thematic sessions, short presentations, debates, scientific demonstrations and social gatherings, promoting the exchange of ideas between researchers from different fields.
