International Network of Basin Organizations World General Assembly
The World General Assembly of INBO, the international event devoted to water management at the level of river basins throughout the world, will take place in Bordeaux, France, from 7 to 10 October 2024.
The themes of the conference are:
- Fighting water scarcity: planning quantitative water resources management at basin level
- Reversing the trend towards water resources degradation: IWRM at basin level to improve water quality
- Meeting the challenge of climate change adaptation: the interest of a sound basin governance
- Reconciling the natural and urban water cycles: basin-scale strategy for wastewater reuse & other non-conventional water resources for water security
- Overcoming differences: basin management in international and transboundary cooperation as a driver for peace
