I hold a degree in Biology from the University of Évora (2003), a master in Conservation Biology (2007) and a PhD in Biology (2017) from the same university. I work in ecology and conservation of owls in the Laboratory of Ornithology since 2003. I am particularly interested in scientific literacy as a way to promote public support for nature conservation. Therefore, I am permanently involved in initiatives and projects of knowledge transfer, education and dissemination of science, through national and international partnerships.
