About
Doctor in Agricultural Engineering and Habilitation in Agriculture Sciences. Associate Professor in the Agricultural Engineering Department, University of Évora. Actual President of the European Society of Agricultural Engineering (EurAgEng). Full member of MED research centre and former Vice-director of ICAAM. Teaching and research activities mainly related with environmental control in rural buildings (greenhouses and animal buildings), energy efficiency in agriculture and agro-industry, and circular economy. Author/co-author of more than 50 papers in peer reviewed journals and more than 100 national and international other publications such as book chapters and conferences proceedings. Coordination and/or participation in several national and international research projects.
