About

Master in Conservation Biology and guest research assistant at MED (Mediterranean Institute of Agriculture, Environment and Development, UÉvora), Cristina Baião has worked in ​​social involvement in nature conservation projects since 2009. She acquired extensive professional experience as a technician at LPN – League for the Protection of Nature in the LIFE Charcos and LIFE Imperial projects. In 2019, she began research at UÉvora on ecosystem services and socio-ecological relationships within the scope of the LIFE-Relict project, as well as providing support to the management of this project. She is currently the manager of the Zimbral for LIFE project.
