About
Isabel Cansado is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, at Évora University. She got her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Québec in Montréal, Canada. She obtained her PhD in Chemistry, in the Materials and Surfaces area, at the University of Évora. She guided her research for the preparation, characterization, modification and application of carbon materials in areas that include the treatment of gaseous and liquid effluents, aiming the environmental improvement, through the valorization of a diversity of solid wastes, in a circular economy perspective.
