About
Inês Mansinhos is a PhD student of Biotechnological Sciences, in the field of Plant Biotechnology, at the University of Algarve. Her investigation focuses on the responses of medicinal and aromatic plants to climate change conditions and sustainable agricultural practices. Specifically, her research outputs reflect a emphasis on understanding the impacts of abiotic and biotic factors on the production of plant secondary metabolites, especially phenolics and essential oils, and associated biological activity, and developing green strategies for the extraction of bioactive compounds.
