About
In this laboratory, important research work has been carried out on the decline of cork oaks and holm oaks.
Recently the laboratory started new lines of research, namely:
- Effects of citrus pruning on fruit productivity and quality;
- Effects of controlled deficit irrigation on citrus, avocado, carob and dragon fruit plants;
- Characterization of dragon fruit cultivars;
- Interaction between Trioza erytreae, vector of huanglongbing, and its hosts;
- Technology and innovation for local carbon sequestration, through nature-based solutions
The research work associated with this laboratory is partially carried out in the field, on farmers' plots and in green spaces, as well as in the Horto of UAlg.
