Description

Advisory body of the Arrábida Biosphere Reserve, designated by UNESCO in September 2025 under the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme. The Scientific Committee is part of the Reserve’s governance model and aims to ensure the integration of scientific knowledge into nature conservation strategies, natural and cultural heritage enhancement, and the sustainable use of endogenous resources.
